Maple Syrup Tour 2027
An intimate acoustic evening
An intimate instrumental show
with Hervé Amiot
Hervé composes with a blend of techniques focusing on fingerpicking. His work brings together the melody, bass, and harmonics on one guitar with one audience member saying it felt like the guitar was singing to her.
Shall we organize a show?
Hervé Amiot is a guitarist and composer from a tiny town in France. Mastering the guitar over the past twenty years and influenced by notes of folk, jazz, country, and bluegrass, he creates the effect of multiple instruments playing together. As a composer his melodic compositions create mesmerising events making even large audiences feel like they have slipped inside his musical universe. With an EP and emotive premier solo album released, Hervé continues to affirm his position as a defining voice in intricate acoustic folk guitar. This tour will feature his second album release, a selection from his first album and EP, and rearrangements of popular songs such as Norah Jones, Fool’s Garden, and the Beatles.
Restaurants / bars
I love playing at bars and restaurants who welcome live musicians. My style is acoustic and instrumental and suits a range of venues and events. I can hook into your existing setup for sound, or bring my own. I’ll need a small area (or stage/scene if you have one), and a sturdy chair without arms.
OPTIONS (YOUR PREFERENCE)
1 or 1.5 hours concert of active listening
2 hours of ambient music
Music venues
I would love to bring my 2027 Maple Syrup Tour to your venue. This tour is the release of my second album and includes some storytelling so we can share a special musical moment together with the audience. Perfect for venues that can create an intimate feel (ideally 25 - 150 seats).
CONCERT OPTIONS
45 minutes, 1 hour or 1.5 hour concert
2 × 45 minute concert sets with break
Festivals
Whether your festival is small and local or larger, I’m excited to bring this 2027 show to it. Festivals have a range of requirements and different scenes so I’m happy to chat through the options with you and what you think will work best. As a guide, I’ve performed in the forest for small groups passing by on a summer day, tiny scenes in the street, on stage in public spaces, and for 350 people in a packed sit-down venue.
FESTIVAL OPTIONS
30 or 45 minute pre-show act
45 minute or 1 hour concert
Tour and concert questions
-
I don’t need much - enough space to play and plugin my guitar. I have a technical rider that I can send to you when we chat for the booking.
I can work with your sound engineer if your venue has this. It’s not necessary if you don’t. I can provide a sound system for up to 150 people if needed. You’ll need to provide lighting.
Setup time = 45 minutes
Packdown time = 20 minutes -
It’s a complex, intricate guitar style that is universally appreciated when people hear it. It can be warm, moody, and fun. It’s acoustic and raw and Hervé creates an intimate concert for the occasion. Both guitarists and general music lovers deeply appreciate these shows.
The music can suit two purposes and is adjusted specifically for each: active listening (concert), and ambient music (acoustic, background).
-
Yes, absolutely. Your event will be promoted across my social networks and in my newsletter. Events at music venues and festivals (on stage) will also have a targeted advertising campaign. It’s also recommended to create a Facebook event for the show from your business page.
-
Yes of course! With the right sound amplification I love this type of environment too. I’ll just need a decent shelter to protect my equipment and allow me to play if rain might arrive.
-
Yes! Hervé is also a guitar teacher and holds specialized fingerpicking workshops across France. If you’d like to add a masterclass or workshop, I will be happy to discuss the details with you. They can be held in English or French.
-
On the tour circuit June - September predominantly in France, Switzerland, England, the Netherlands, Italy, and Germany.
The show is sublined an acoustic evening but daytime shows are perfectly fine too! We’ll swap out the word evening :)

You are welcome to use anything on this page or in my EPK. You can also copy and paste this general bio:
